Yes, I am sick to death of people telling me what I have to accept as normal. If I have to accept the sickness of today’s society, they have to accept any sick thing I want them to.

IE : If two men or two women can get married legally, a person should be able to marry their dog, car or toaster if that is what they want to do. I am tired of groups with their own agenda trying to force their crap down my throat.

I only accept what I want to and I am the same as every other American. we only accept what we want to and not what others want us to.

…For some reason, many people just love lables: moral – immoral, good – bad. In this post I like it best the brilliant conclusion of this article: “…We all have our own beliefs and opinions.” Exactly! The opinions of people are highly subjective. And the Holy Bible a.k.a. God’s Word, prohibits the judgmental attitude towards the others. Only God has this right – to judge Humans; and spiritual relationship with God or religion is a very personal matter. All the dealings of this case (including the most recent ones) were only about the clash of opinions and “power games”… or yeah, and “show business” too; in one word it’s called Vanity.

- I’m surprised to see that people blew out of proportions the sincere answer of a young lady to the very complex question which most of Americans wouldn’t be able to handle without being criticized, especially under the given circumstances she found herself in. Yes, she is Miss California, not a Governor of California. Thus, she isn’t an official political representative of the State of California and is free to express her personal opinion as anyone else in this country; by the way, she did it gracefully, with respect, not trying to imply her beliefs on anybody.
I guess, we all need to practice more tolerance and graciousness.

It’s a long, looong way from those sorts of pics to porn, IMO. But at any rate, Carrie Prejean is perfectly emblematic of a certain type of individual who OUTSOURCES the shaping of their own values and opinions. These folks do not have a moral compass of their own devising and fine-tuning. I’m not saying all extremely religious people are like this, or all beauty pageant contestants, but there’s an eerie similarity to some of these sample sets.

I think her behavior is a perfect representation of California. Isn’t that where the majority of porn is produced. The biggest, most profitable industry in the country. Yet, it is frowned upon by the very society that eats it up!
